They Live

Hey there Wikiphiles,

Life huh? Amirite? Due to a myriad of major life events affecting all of the regular Wikiphilia dudes, we have been unable to work on the podcast lately.

Silence on our part has been purely due to logistical obstacles, however, as we love doing the show and have been itching to get some more out there for your eager ear holes.

New shows? Yes. We are working through an embarrassingly deep backlog of shows and will be sending them your way on a semi regular schedule. The first one drops tomorrow. It’s one of my favorites and I can not believe has gone unedited this long.

New Year Wikiphiles

Hey wikiphiles,

How’s it going? We’re good. Our relative silence lately has prompted a few of you guys to ask “Where’d you go?” A sentiment that both surprises (people listen to our nonsense?) and warms our hearts (like jalapenos).

The good news is we are still here, recording new shows. We literally have a dozen shows we just haven’t edited yet. Life, job, kids, chupacabras, you know how it goes. A resolution of ours is to get some new stuff out there asap, so we will get right on it – it’s up there on the list with ‘work out more often’ and ‘drink less soda’ and ‘read Sound Engineering for Dummies’.

We really do like hearing from listeners, it’s sort of like getting a birthday card laced with white powder – excitement is inevitable, and ultimately enjoyable when a quick sniff reveals its not anthrax, but something way better, like powdered sugar… Seriously, hit us up, we love to chat.

Also, let us know if you want to hear more from Steve or Sarah. My powers of persuasion fail in the face of their busy and interesting lives, but a 100,000 signature petition might get them to return, who knows.

New Site Hotness

I’ve finished upgrading the Wikiphilia site, and it is oh so sweet. through the course of re-doing a bunch of posting and uploading, i stumbled across some fun facts.

  1. We only put out 1 show in 2011. Lazy.
  2. Being new and all, Michael hasn’t done a show about monkeys yet.

As a result of the update, the podcast feed has moved. If you listen to us via itunes, it should update itself. If you use another rss / podcast reader, you might has to use the new url, which is:
